Overview: Thick leather belt made out of the hide of an old bull, by a company that enjoys a worldwide reputation for exceptionally well-made leather products. The Old Bull Belt has 9 holes that are 3/4 inches apart, whereas belts by other companies have merely 5 holes, 1 inch apart. More holes means you are more comfortable, as you'll have more latitude to adjust it to just the right fit. We refer to this is having a high CFS Factor of 9.75; "CFS" referring to "chicken fried steak"
as it does with all of its products, Saddleback Leather Company
stands behind the Old Bull Belt with a 100 year warranty. A year of
warranty to honor every year of the old bulls life, we gather. Or,
perhaps that's how long it will take for the rich leather smell to
wear off completely. One of the most enjoyable aspects of receiving a
shipment from Saddleback Leather Company is the pure smell of new
leather, and these belts are no exception
The Old Bull Belt is made from a single piece of vegetable tanned
leather, with a removable, solid brass (which is nickel plated) buckle.
Choose from Carbon Black or Dark Coffee Brown, and 1.5" or 1.75" wide.
If you are familiar with Saddleback's standard colors and like their
Chestnut-colored leather, consider the Tow Belt instead of the Old
Bull Belt, as it's available in Chestnut. The Tow Belt (so named as an
indicator of its strength, as in: you may need to tow a train
someday) is made from three pieces of stacked leather, with the bottom
layer extra smooth, so it slides right off; same price more or less
as the Old Bull
